Exit 95 The Band
Hope all is well with everyone. We just recently played a gig that we were extremely excited to play. It was supposed to be a fun outdoor gig. Turned out it was an outdoor gig that wasn't fun. No band likes to be told to turn down. It's even more frustrating when you are already as low as you can turn down. Might as well just shut everything off and go home. That would've probably been too loud. Why do you even have bands if you are constantly telling them to turn it down?
BTW, the woman that kept telling us to turn it down for 4 hours because it was way too loud will always be remembered as an "That" old bag. She wasn't that old but when you bitch and moan about how loud it is, you look old and mean. Take that as your daily tip. Stop bitching. It makes you look old and mean. There was an 85 year old woman in the crowd and she was dancing and singing and having a great time. She was young and sweet. Remember that. Nobody likes a complainer.
A band is supposed to make noise. There is nothing worse than a quiet band. You need some volume. The drums need to make your hair move. The screaming guitars need to make your skirt flip up. Don't turn it down. Turn it up!!! If it's too loud, you're too old. If it's too loud, move back and for heaven's sake, don't stand or sit in front of the speakers. It's going to be louder the closer you are to the band.
Next time someone tells you to turn down. Walk away. You don't need that negativity.
Peace and Love
